Stone module for skis & boards
On the 350mm wide stone, a wide variety of structures for skis and snowboards can be ground. This gives the sports equipment optimum gliding properties and guarantees satisfied customers. When working on skis, high-efficiency pre-grinding and finishing structures can be used in parallel.
Double stone module for skis
The two 165 mm wide grinding stones with matching dressing systems enable extremely efficient treatment of the skis. Thanks to the two parallel grinding stones, pre-grinding and structure grinding of the skis can be done in a single operation. This means significant time savings compared to other service robots.
Belt module for skis and boards
The belt module is ideal for high-quality and cost-efficient pre-grinding of a large number of skis in the robot. With the patented Vario belts from Reichmann, structures can also be ground if required - this is a great advantage, especially for convex and concave snowboards.
Edge module for ski and boards
Thanks to the HQT edge technology, you will receive burr-free and ready-to-race skis and snowboards in the shortest time while at the same time being gentle on the materials. A particularly wide range of winter sports enthusiasts can be served with regard to driving skills (from beginners to race-oriented riders) and ski types (freeride, carving, all-mountain, race).
Wax module for skis
With the new waxing module, you cover a further service step in the robot. Waxing and brushing out is done in one machine run. Save yourself time-consuming, manual waxing and get ready-to-race skis directly out of the machine.
Intuitive operation
Say goodbye to complexity! Our latest software generation features a Windows 10-based interface for intuitive operation. Enjoy enhanced comfort, efficiency, and transparency as operators can independently create or edit programs. Plus, the integrated structure simulator makes it simple to create new structures with ease.
Different feed variants fitting your needs
Depending on the throughput and expansion level of your machine, choose between standard loading for up to 4 pairs of skis, extended loading for up to 6 pairs of skis or our autonomous loading magazine. The loading magazine is operated independently from a flexible ski transport cart and saves you all the time for loading and unloading the skis at the service machine.

The water tank has a capacity of 480 liters (approximately 126.8 gallons) and can be equipped with cooling on request.
Yes, in this case only the sliding zones are processed; these can be selected/adjusted individually
Yes, a total of approx. 60 finishes and 18 pre-grinding structures are stored at the factory for skis, boards, and Nordic equipment. Additional ones can be easily created/copied and stored indefinitely.
It is located under the overflow module on the left side and accessible from the front.
This is located under the respective module and can be accessed from the front without tools.
Loading and unloading takes place on the right side of the machine; the left side can be used for other purposes (waxing machine, belt sander, etc.).
Yes, different angles can be ground along the sides and base edges if desired. This is not an option but is available on every machine.
The SF-4 Race processes approximately 50-70 skis per hour (depending on the configuration).
You can easily create and save your own programs and structures on the control panel. For example, you can individually set the grinding pressure, the number of grinding passes, structure types, or edge angles. This allows the SF-4 Race to be precisely tailored to different ski types, skiing styles, or racing requirements—and these settings can be saved for recurring processes and automatically recalled.
Two different side or base edge angles can be easily set on the touch panel. In addition, a variable side and base edge angle can be set along the ski length at the touch of a button.
An integrated ski drying system, an automatic filter system, and a cooling unit are available as optional extras.
The transport system secures skis and boards of various lengths and shapes using pressure pins. The winter sports equipment is automatically measured in length and width during transport. The pressure curve and pin positioning automatically adjust to the ski dimensions and ski type.
The extra-wide grinding stone can be set up for alpine skis in two zones for pre-grinding and structure grinding. For cross-country skis, there are even three zones for pre-grinding, base grinding, and structure grinding. Parallel processing on one stone saves a lot of time and material, as no intermediate dressing is necessary.
The 4-stone system with two parallel grinding stones in a row enables complete base grinding in just one pass – particularly fast and efficient. Each grinding stone has a specific task: two stones work on the ski during the forward pass (coarse and fine pre-grinding), the other two during the return pass (smoothing and final structure). This results in a high-quality finish with high processing capacity. Each stone has its own dressing diamond for consistently precise grinding performance.
Depending on the configuration, the SF-4 Race is suitable for sports shops or ski rental businesses with between 1,500 and 40,000 skis or boards per season.
With customizable race service programs, maximum repeatability, and the finest structure and edge technology, the SF-4 Race delivers exactly the precision that makes the difference in racing. It is specially designed for the highest demands in ski service.
Yes, the SF-4 Race processes skis and snowboards fully automatically and adapts intelligently to different lengths, widths, and geometries—ideal for versatile workshop requirements.
Thanks to fully automated processes and fast turnaround times, the SF-4 Race enables significantly higher service capacity with consistently high quality. This allows workshops to grow without hiring additional skilled personnel.
Depending on the configuration and requirements, the SF-4 Race automates the pre-grinding, base grinding, and finish grinding of the base, as well as the side and base edge grinding, right through to the final wax application – all in one optimized, continuous machining process.
