The combined belt-stone grinding machine PROFI 4 VARIO from Reichmann meets all requirements for fast, fatigue-free work through pneumatically supported work processes. The two units arranged compactly one behind the other allow space-saving installation next to the wall. With the help of the optional side edge grinding unit (angle 87° to 90°), a central processing station is quickly created for all necessary work steps of ski and snowboard processing in a very confined space.
Efficient stone grinding
The 350 mm wide stone offers the possibility to apply the pre-grinding and the finishing structure for skis next to each other. This saves you time and material. With the help of the divisible feed roller, convex and concave snowboards can also be optimally processed on the stone.
Vario belts for pre-grinding & finish
The PROFI 4 VARIO combines the highlights of the PROFI B VARIO with the advantages of the PROFI 4. Use the "ready-to-use" VARIO belts on the belt side to pre-grind skis and boards in high quality and to structure them at the same time as required. In this way you reduce your stone consumption and save costs. The VARIO structure belt is also ideal for structuring convex and concave snowboards.
Modern user inferface with structure simulator
The enlarged touchscreen with the latest software generation makes operating the PROFI 4 Vario even more intuitive and appealing. With the new structure simulator, you can easily visualize and create your own structures. In addition, a large number of structures are already stored for you, which can be reproduced at any time.
Quick & easy change between belt and stone
The swiveling feed arm can be easily flipped at the touch of a button, and the separately adjustable contact pressure for the belt and stone automatically enables the desired pressure setting, regardless of how often you change the units during processing.
Optional side edge
The PROFI 4 VARIO is optionally available with a side edge grinding device. This makes it an all-in-one machine for your service workshop.
NEW: Optional base edge tuning device
The new Base Edge Tuning Module upgrades your existing PROFI 4 VARIO to a true all-in-one ski and snowboard service station. It can be easily attached to your side edge grinding unit so that you can switch effortlessly between side and base edge processing. This smart upgrade lets you handle the entire tuning process on one machine – from pre-grinding to precise edge finishing.

The PROFI 4 VARIO is operated via a modern touch panel with clear menu navigation. Predefined programs can even be started and run using a foot pedal without having to switch to the menu.

The PROFI 4 VARIO covers the work steps of pre-grinding, fine grinding, and structural grinding on the belt or stone. In addition, with the optional side edge grinding device and the retrofittable base edge tuning device, edge grinding can also be carried out with the PROFI 4 VARIO machine.
The PROFI 4 VARIO combines numerous application areas and advantages in one compact machine. It offers belt and stone grinding in combination, automatic grinding cycles, ergonomic operation from one side, a pneumatically swivelling feed arm for quick changeover between belt and stone processing, and an integrated structure simulator for individual grinding patterns.
The PROFI 4 VARIO belt-stone grinding machine is suitable for all ski service workshops or rental companies that want to work efficiently, save space, have full control over the individual work steps, and want to cover the entire base grinding process (including optional edge grinding) in one machine.
We opted for the Profi 4 Vario and the DTS-U II Race because these machines allow us to respond individually to our customer needs. It is important to us that the work steps can be quickly adapted to the different service requirements, so that every ski and snowboard only gets the service it needs. "One-fits-all" is not really our thing. The Profi 4 Vario offers us exactly the flexibility we need. We have the opportunity to check the result after each work step and to adapt further steps directly if necessary.
