How does the effect of GigaGlide compare to paraffins on skis?
The tests carried out by the F2SA Innsbruck research center showed that the ski treated with GigaGlide shows less friction after a short break-in phase than the paraffin ski. The reason for this is that the ski base treated with GigaGlide absorbs less dirt particles. Therefore, the gliding ability is getting better and better than the waxed ski, because wax, in contrast to GigaGlide, loses gliding ability.
